Talía Falconi is a nomadic artist born in Quito, Ecuador who explores movement as a poetic territory between body, sound, and space. With over 35 years of experience in creating, performing, and producing choreographic works and dance films. She trained in contemporary dance, circus, and movement theatre in New York and France, and founded Río Teatro Caribe (Venezuela, 1995–2010), touring throughout Latin America, Europe, and Asia, receiving the Venezuelan National Dance Prize in 2007.
Between 2010 and 2018, she worked in Mexico as a choreographer, performer, and video dance maker. Since 2010, she has collaborated with musician Federea through the independent platform Ella y el Otro.
Invited internationally, she leads workshops, and creative projects with dance companies and schools across Latin America, the U.S., and Europe.
Between France and Ecuador, she continues to develop her artistic and pedagogical practice, weaving movement, sound, and spatial research into poetic, interdisciplinary performance works.
